The Shur-Set III Breakaway Kit is intended for use on 1, 2 or 3 axle trailers with electric brakes.

Mounts on any flat surface with bolt or welded installation. Galvanized metal mounting bracket and locking bar provide secure battery protection. Meets or exceeds D.O.T. specs.

Breakaway systems are required on all trailers that are required to have brakes. (Check Federal Regulation #393.43)

Includes 20000 lockable polymer battery case with weldable flat surface mounting, rechargeable sealed 12v 5 amp-hr lead acid battery and terminals, breakaway switch and DC-to-DC heavy duty quick maintenance battery charger.
