Our experience as the NUMBER ONE rated campground in New Hampshire and our years of providing our customers with Recreational Vehicles that fit their budgets and needs, make us unparalleled in the RV industry!

In 1968 Robert and Gail worked at Memorial Hospital in Nashua, NH. Robert was a cook and Gail was a nurse and a waitress. They had 2 sons, Scott 4 and Todd 2. They also had a small camper and used to take the family camping. They really enjoyed camping, and while driving on route 114 in Weare, they saw a sign "land for sale." Robert always wanted his own business, and was planning on opening up a restaurant. When he saw the land for sale, he thought about opening a campground. They asked Gail's parents if they wanted to go in on it. They did, and over the next year, developed 15 sites and opened in 1969.

The campground had 15 sites and a cabin, that had been on the property, was the office. Over time, more sites were built and Robert and Gail became the sole owners of the campground. Robert and Gail quit there jobs and became full time campground operators while expanding the campground. During this time, Robert started buying and selling a camper every once in a while. As that got a little busier, he started selling out of his front yard next to the campground. In 1978, he took on a new line of campers called Blazon, and became a small RV dealer, still working out of the front yard. as business grew, the lot became too small.

COLD SPRINGS RV & COLD SPRINGS CAMP GROUND:  In 1984, he purchased a 5000 sq foot building in New Boston 3 miles away, and became a full line RV dealer. That facility was quickly outgrown, and in 1987, he built the dealership we are in now. After building and adding on a couple of times, the dealership is around 19000 sq feet with an additional 3600 sq foot indoor showroom. It consists of 8 service bays, as well as 8 outside bays a 3500 square foot RV parts and accessory store, a kid's play room, service waiting area, as well as sales offices and the business office.

Robert passed away on January 11, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer and Scott Silva, his oldest son, took over as president. Scott has been involved in the business since 1984 as a salesperson, and over time learned all aspects of the RV business. After Robert's passing, the store was remodeled both inside and out as well as many facility improvements. Our goal was a very relaxed atmosphere where people would feel at home when they come in. From all the comments I have heard, we have been extremely successful.

Todd runs the campground with Gail and it has become a 5-star campground and continues to add new features. By having the campground and dealership, we really are tuned in to what the RV'er of today wants.
